Lempuyang Temple Pura Lempuyang Luhur is one of the oldest and most revered temples in Bali, Indonesia. The temple is actually a collection of several temples along the hiking path to the summit. The main temple and also the highest, the Pura Lempuyang Luhur, lies at 1,175m above sea level, up on the peak of the namesake Mount Lempuyang. The temple is located on Mount Lempuyang or Gamongan Hill, Bunutan village, Abang sub district, Karangasem, east Bali, around 10 kilometres north from Amlapura, the capital of Karangasem. The most popular temple among visitors is the Pura Penataran Agung Lempuyang. With its towering white candi bentar split gate, three dragon stairs and three kori agung gates, this compound has a spectacular view to the west overlooking Mount Agung, the highest volcano in Bali. Tirta Gangga Temple Tirta Gangga is a beautiful traditional water park with a huge water fountain and wide pond located at Abang Sub-district, Karangasem Regency in east part of Bali. It is one of the heritage site from Karangasem Empire set secluded between the green hills, rice paddy and surrounded by fresh atmosphere. Tirta Gangga Water Park is built in the year of 1948 by the Karangasem King of Anak Agung Agung Angluerah Ketut Karangasem. Before this park is found, there is big wellspring in this area, which the local society believe that this water come from the land is holy spring therefore they call this place is Embukan means wellspring.
